Claudia Gomez is a tap dancer, choreographer, educator, and wellness practitioner based in San Diego, CA. With over 20 years of professional experience, she has performed and taught across the globe, from New York to New Orleans, Europe, and Mexico. Claudia is known for her deep musicality, improvisational style, and her commitment to preserving and innovating within the rich history of tap dance.

In addition to performing, Claudia is the Co-Founder and Director of the San Diego Tap and Jazz Dance Festival and the Founder of Tap In With Claudia, a movement and wellness center that integrates rhythm tap with holistic healing practices. She has studied under tap masters such as Mable Lee, Bunny Briggs, and Dianne Walker, and has worked with renowned musicians like Gilbert Castellanos and many more. 

She is also the producer, choreographer, and featured performer in original shows including Olio The Show and The Cherries Jubilee, which highlight her innovative approach to rhythm-based storytelling and cultural celebration.

Claudia’s passion lies in sharing the power of rhythm and dance to build community, inspire creativity, and promote wellness through movement.
